If you struggle to find a fun activity that the whole family will enjoy, I’ve got the perfect one for you: Escape Rooms! I remember going to an Escape Room years ago, but today’s escape rooms are so different. From the moment you step into the room, you’re immediately immersed in the adventure. Whether you’re diving into a clue game, assisting the FBI in nabbing a cyber hacker, or racing to find the family treasure, there’s a story for everyone that promises loads of fun.

After trying out a few escape rooms in Miami, our favorite is The Escape Game. They have a location in Sawgrass Mills, which we all fell in love with! We recently tackled the Gold Rush experience, and it kept all of us entertained – from my kids (8, 11, and 14-year-olds) to me, my husband, and even my father-in-law.

Now, I won’t sugarcoat it. It wasn’t easy. Full disclosure: we definitely needed a bit of help to complete the quest. But, you know what? That’s what made it so much fun! We had an amazing time bonding as a family, working together, laughing, and feeling accomplished every time we cracked a tough riddle.

This new location includes six different themed escape rooms, including their newest game, “Cosmic Crisis.” It is only the fourth of its kind in the country and exclusive among The Escape Game’s four Florida locations.
